  • Supports continuous and stable production in small to medium batches
What is Swiss Turning?

Swiss turning is a machining method specifically designed for small-diameter, slender, precision parts. Its core feature is the use of **guide bushings** to support the workpiece throughout the machining process, ensuring the cutting point remains close to the guide bushing.

Compared to traditional CNC lathes, Swiss turning effectively suppresses vibration and deformation when machining slender parts, achieving higher dimensional accuracy, coaxiality, and surface quality. It is particularly suitable for mass production where high consistency is required.

Why Choose Swiss Turning?

1️⃣ Guide Bushing Support, Prevents Deformation of Slender Parts

During machining, the workpiece is consistently supported by guide bushings, significantly reducing vibration and ensuring the straightness and coaxiality of slender parts.

2️⃣ High Consistency, Suitable for Mass Production

The stable machining method results in minimal dimensional fluctuations, making it particularly suitable for industries with extremely high batch consistency requirements, such as medical and electronics.

3️⃣ Complex Features Completed in One Operation

Supports multi-station simultaneous machining, allowing complex features such as turning, drilling, milling, and grooving to be completed on the same machine.

4️⃣ Reduced Subsequent Processes, Improved Overall Efficiency

Reduces rework and secondary clamping requirements, lowering overall production costs and delivery time risks.
